My name is Jacki Schiavone and I am the founder of Coolibah Clothing. I live in Newcastle NSW and am the mother of 2 beautiful girls. 

I love to tell the story of how Coolibah came to be as I beleive it can inspire others to take a chance on yourself and push through the fear that tends to hold most of us back.

I left school at 16 years of age and went straight into the travel industry where I worked for corportate companies for 15 years until my first child was born. After renovating a few homes, I found that I was talented with colour and design and wanted to expand on that as I loved the creative outlet it gave me. I was also loving dressing my daughter and playing around with fashion so decided to put the two together and so Coolibah was born.

I have to say it was a really tough start with fabric printers and manufacturers letting me down over and over again and there were many tears and feelilngs of wanting to give up. But over time I found the right people to work with me and together, we now produce a beautiful range of clothing each season that is brilliant quality and loved by many and we are now available in boutiques across Australia. To be honest, if someone had told me even 10 years ago that I would one day design and produce a children's clothing label that would be available in stores, I would have laughed at them. But here it is and we have been in the stores now for 8 years.

I want the world to know my label AND my story because at the end of the day, I am still a Mum working from home while I raise my children, and no matter how hard it has been, it was definately worth picking myself up and dusting myself off after every disaster through this process (and there were many) to make Coolibah what it is today.  I am so incredibly proud of it and proud of myself for never giving up.

I hope this can inspire passion in you all to follow your own dream !

Please be sure to visit us regularly and spread the word about us to your family and friends. Also please support the little privately owned boutques that are struggling in these difficult times as they compete against the mass producing chain stores. It would be a shame to see them all disappear.

ANTI AGEING SILICONE PADS.

Obviously a totally different product to children's clothing, it must seem odd that they would be on this website.

The truth is that I found this product and after trying it, I knew I had to secure the rights to be able to sell it. IT IS AMAZING !

None of us like to see the effects of ageing, and whilst we can't stop it, there are products that can maybe help slow down the visual side of things but I could find nothing to help with the chest or decollatage area. Until now !!

I was hating seeing the creases in my chest each morning and no amount of creams or oils made any difference. But this silicon pad changed it overnight. That may seem unbeleivable, but it is absolutely true.

So now I am a stockist of these pads. There is the chest pad and the face pads but I have also found them beneficial for the back of your hands and also the neck.

This is also a prouduct that i want to share with the world because ladies, they really do work !
